Plan 1: for Visitors to Japan:

Experience Tokyo's contemporary art scene to the fullest with customized itineraries and tours based on your personal preferences and needs.

While people from around the world are interested in the contemporary art scene in Tokyo, there is no designated gallery district, there are over 100 contemporary art galleries in Tokyo, and most spread out across the city. It would be difficult for a visitor to know which galleries to prioritize without having some understanding of the local art scene and geography. Moreover, beyond the art galleries and museums, individual artist studios are often spread out even further. It could take a whole day just to visit them.
The goal of plug in + is to make Tokyo’s art scene accessible by showing you the way, in your language, to the people and places you could not find on your own.

Places to visit:
+ museums
+ galleries
+ artist’s studios
+ artist residencies
+ art universities
+ artist-run-studio
+ collector’s places
and more
